    Isobell, a novice witch meets a resistance coven one day while walking to an apothecary in her small town. She ends up on adventures throughout the world. It’s a fun story, released earlier in 2023

Isobell is a manga and anime series we’re developing from inspiration from the novel, made completely by hand.

We’re currently engaged in character design and the first stages of production for the first short film.

This is the charachter design for Isobell, the central witch in the story.

Anime Test

In August of last year, we committed to learning analogue and hand-drawn techniques to transition from our AI anime into hand-drawn work. We built a small project studio, learned Gouache painting (All the backgrounds in this short test are hand painted without technology) and cell simulation. These are very time intensive; it might take a year or several months to finish a 15-minute film on our own, without assistance, but we can get there. This was a three-month process to get everything together and make countless horrible drawings that taught us everything we needed to know. We hope you enjoy this. We are looking for the voice of Isobell; if you or anyone you know is a voice actor with a Kansai accent, please let us know.

A metaphor for the idea of banned books and censorship, the story traces a small collective’s resistance to conformity and oppression.
