  • Three Dimensions

    Over the course of two years I really got into NFTs, responding mostly to a small group of artists I found who were doing compelling 3D work. But once I investigated more closely some of the artists I found that I responded to the most, I realized how much I was making up that wasn’t there, so I decided to take a novel I wrote and make work from it.

  • Starting with the Book

    LIght Fields is a story of friendship between dialogs with my own mind. It was a refuge, and I chose to believe that within everyone there is a spark of goodness tending toward the infinite. In a fast paced society, everything in Light Fields is changing. The protagonist, almost like Wyndy, clumsily makes their way into discovering their own heart, and love for others.

  • Reception

    In 2022, LIght Fields became the first artwork I’ve ever shown in San Francisco. I was overjoyed when Drawing Room accepted the work into the Tides of Change show, and in many ways that finished the project for me. For an individual creator, Technology is not currently up to speed enoug to make what I truly see in this film, but the result has really made a difference in my llife. It’s somethinhg I will return to again.

Kindness as a Being

Like mythology, most of the figures in Light Fields represent different emotions and qualities, Albert, a pixel being, represents more than any of the other characters the pure essence of kindness and love. Not discerning between shape and color, it is constantly shifting, much like Ondolor, the city they live in, as a being of it’s own.

Gardening and Tending to Nature

A solar punk environmentalist story, Light Field’s proganist James tends to a biotech garden beside his home and research center. While I haven’t made all of the films yet, this is the central way that everything begins to change in the story.

"Light Fields" is a profoundly influential literary work (now out of print) and cinematic production authored by myself in 2021. This multifaceted creation captivated audiences and garnered considerable acclaim through its exhibition in the esteemed realm of science fiction. The work's thought-provoking nature and nuanced complexity have rendered it resistant to a singular, definitive interpretation, evoking a multitude of perspectives and stimulating intellectual discourse.
